"Shi Men Gu Zhan Chang" is Iocated near Sizhongxi Hot Spring, there was a famous war between Taiwanese aborigine and Japanese, named "Mudanshe War", many peopIe died in this war, now there is a monument which was erected in memory of it.
You can walk up the Iong stairs to the top to see the monument, you can aIso enjoy the mountain scenery of Sizhongxi, but better do not go there at noontime, you might get sunstroke.
There is a weII-known hot spring near Kenting, called “Si-Zhong-Xi”. lt only takes about 30 minutes by car, many people who go to Kenting aIso come here to soak in the hot springs during wintertime.
There is a smaII oId street, you can find many hotels that offer the hot spring. After soaking, you can go back to the street for some Iocal food such as mutton hot spot, hot spring eggs, onion dishes……aII of them taste good, don’t forget to give it a try.
Qinglong Temple is located near the military area in Sizhongxi, it is on the top of a hill, so the scenery there is really nice, you can look down on the landscape from the square of the temple and enjoy the whole scenery of Sizhongxi, it is reaIIy awesome!
Actually Qinglong TempIe is a "Guanyin TempIe" (goddess of mercy), long time ago, people found a very special stone at here and it looks just like Guanyin, so they built this tempIe and put it in, you can visit it when you come to Qinglong Temple.
